If you are interested in volunteering, please take a few minutes to contact Roy. The following are a few areas where help is often needed:
- writing articles
- photography
- laying out ads (graphic design experience necessary)
- proofing/editing Word document and/or newsletter layout
- calendar of events — requires knowledge of Word. Lots of cutting and pasting.
- some rewriting might be needed to keep format consistent
- coordinating with printer — print production experience a plus
- advertising sales — follow up with area businesses to see if they want to place an ad, remind them of deadlines, materials needed
- distribute newsletters — take extra printed copies to businesses (mostly in Beaverdale Place)
- website posting
